We are looking for permanent full-time Support Workers to help the people we support in our residential services located in Hamilton.
**What does a Support Worker do? |** **He aha te mahi a te Kaimahi Tautoko**
In Residential disability, our support workers assist people who access our services to live as independently as possible, in their community. Support workers are part of a team who work shifts or specific rosters providing 24/7 cover with responsibilities including aiding with personal care, community outings and integration, and other aspects of daily living - enabling our people to be as independent as possible.

**What are we looking for?| He aha ta tatou e rapu ana**
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts across a roster, including weekends.
- Prior experience supporting others with aspects of daily living, preferably those living with intellectual or physical disabilities.
- Minimum Level 3 Health and Wellbeing qualification
**Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness is important in this role as the people we support come from diverse backgrounds with varying needs and interests.**
