Stock Controller

**The Role**

We are on the lookout for two Stock Controllers to join our innovative and collaborative team. This is an important role in our warehouse where you will be responsible for cycle counting, managing investigations on product and damaged goods. You will add value to improve overall stock control within the warehouse whilst driving a culture of continuous improvement, and achieving key inventory metrics.

The main responsibilities of this role include..
- Lead the planning and administration of cycle counting in the warehouse, aligning closely with the Shift Lead and Warehouse Manager to ensure counts are executed.
- Conduct robust investigations on stock discrepancies to resolve and minimise cost impact.
- Implement corrective actions to minimise discrepancies and reduce at-risk volumes.
- Monitor and administrate stock disposals, ensuring the appropriate approvals have been gained.
- Ensure the appropriate planning and administration of physical inventory documents.

This is a hands-on role where every day brings new challenges and opportunities. You will be analytically minded and focused with a passion for process improvement.

**Skills and Experience**

You will ideally have previous experience in a similar role within a warehousing environment. Being proficient in SAP would be a bonus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to direct others.
