**About Us**

BreastScreen Waitematā Northland (BSWN) is part of the Ministry of Health’s free national BreastScreen Aotearoa (BSA) Programme. We screen over 40,000 wāhine each year, and we pride ourselves on consistently delivering a positive experience for our clients.

**About the Role**

In this role you will support, promote and maximize opportunities for eligible women, to participate in the BSA Programme. The role has a particular focus on support for Māori and Pacific women.

You will be required to work alongside organisations and communities that have an existing relationship with those wāhine and their whanau. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with those organisations and supporting them to enable women to get screened.

**About You**

You will also possess well developed communication skills and be able to build relationships effectively with community and professional groups

To be considered for the role, you will need;
- Qualification in Health Science or Health Promotion
- Full clean driving licence.
- Previous health promotion experience
- Existing networks with primary and community health providers
- Have a sound understanding of cultural models care
- Be an interactive team player
