**Your Role**:
As an experienced Mechanic at Tony's Tyre and Auto Care, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional mechanical services to our valued customers. Your responsibilities will include:

- Performing a wide range of services and repairs on vehicles, including diagnostics, oil and filter changes, brake components, spark plugs, and filtration.
- Utilizing your technical expertise to diagnose and resolve issues on various makes and models of vehicles.
- Delivering outstanding customer service, including providing quotes, invoicing, and collecting payments.
- Identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities to contribute to the growth of the business.
- Working independently with mínimal supervision and ensuring the highest standard of workmanship.

**Requirements**:

- Automotive Qualification: Hold a valid Trade Certification in Automotive.
- Full New Zealand Drivers License: Possess a valid drivers license enabling you to operate both manual and automatic vehicles.
- Proven Experience: Demonstrate a track record of performing services and repairs, including parts purchasing, diagnostics, and customer interaction.
- Strong Customer Service Skills: Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Technical Proficiency: Be comfortable operating PC tablet systems or possess a working knowledge of computers.
- Self-Motivation: Show the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and display a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
