The job duties included but not limited to:
- Manage and motivate staff, recruit staff, train and develop staff, according to company policies and employment laws, and ensure relevant HR procedures are followed (appraisals, discipline, grievance, etc).
- Plan, forecast, and report on sales, costs and business performance. Determine stock mix, stock ordering
- In charge of store budgeting and annual financial report
- Plan and implement advertising and promotional strategies and activities.
- Manage cash and payment systems in accordance with company procedures and policies,at all times with staff and customer safety as the uppermost priority.
- Plan and implement shop merchandising, layout and customer traffi c fl ow so as tomaximise sales, customer satisfaction, appearance, image and ergonomics for customers.
- Manage selling and customer service activities and staff competence in these areas, so as to optimise and sustain sales performance, profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Manage costs and overheads, and all factors affecting the profi table performance of the shop.
- You must be physically fit, as you may have to load unload stock
- Be able to under Health and safety policies
Job type: Full time ongoing
Pay rate: $30.00 to $31.00
Hours: 30-40 per week
