New Zealand Steel, a wholly owned subsidiary of BlueScope, manufactures and markets a range of flat rolled steel products for the building construction, manufacturing and agricultural sectors. You may know us for our flagship COLORSTEEL® brand.

Starting in the New Year, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Brand Manager on a 15-month fixed term contract, covering Parental Leave.

**What you will be doing**

Reporting to the Head of Marketing you will play a major role in delivering the COLORSTEEL® Brand Marketing strategy.

You will lead the implementation of marketing strategy into operational marketing activity, including
- Brand guardianship
- Managing ALT implementation and campaign evaluation
- Developing, managing and evaluating brand digital initiatives (Web, SEO, Display, Social and VOD)
- Oversees the coordination and implement of sponsorship, trade shows and industry association activity
- Day-to-day management of agency partners to deliver successful campaigns against objectives.
- Managing marketing spend in key areas of accountability
- Leading and growing Assistant Brand Manager COLORSTEEL®
- Contributing to a supportive high-performance team culture

**What you will bring to the role**

Commercially astute and acting with the customer in mind, you will be confident in taking an idea and doing the work to bring it to life,
- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Commerce or equivalent
- Minimum 5+ years brand marketing experience
- Highly motivated with professional drive and a passion for technology, brands & customer experience
- Excellent copy writing information gathering and analytical skills
- Eagerness to learn and participate in a broad spectrum of activities
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Analytics & Content Management Systems
