We are looking to recruit twoBakers Assistant forGlory Patisserie, is a prominent Bakehouse (Patisserie) venture located in Auckland. We specialise in offering a variety of fresh, natural, and healthy products, including bread, sandwiches, sweets, and coffee.

**Salary**: $22.70-$30per hour depending on skills

Number of positions: 2

Employment type: full-time, permanent

On roster: Monday to Sunday, from 10am 10pm - at least 30 hours per week.

**Responsibilities**:

- Checking the cleanliness of equipment and ensuring the proper operation of premises before production runs to comply with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Checking the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients accurately.
- Kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing, and shaping dough and pastry goods.
- Preparing pastry fillings.
- Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times.
- Coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning, and cooling of batches of bread, rolls, and pastry products.
- Glazing buns and pastries, and decorating cakes with cream and icing.
- Operating machines for rolling, moulding dough, and cutting biscuits.
- Emptying, cleaning, and greasing baking trays, tins, and other cooking equipment.

**Requirements**:

- Training will be provided, so prior work experience is not required but would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations related to baking and food preparation.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Excellent teamwork and coordination skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
