As a Project Surveyor and Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our company's success by surveying new projects, accurately estimating quotes for clients, and managing these profiles throughout the project lifecycle. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills will be key assets in this role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough surveys of potential new projects in the Bay of Plenty region.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Prepare detailed and precise cost estimates for metal and aluminum fabrication projects.
- Evaluate project scope, materials, labor, and other factors to determine accurate pricing.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to obtain competitive pricing for project components.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
- Address any client inquiries, concerns, or changes throughout the project duration.
- Participate in post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in project surveying and estimation within the metal and aluminum fabrication industry.
- Strong knowledge of metal and aluminum materials
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Good verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Bay of Plenty region for on-site surveys and project management.
