Asbestos Removalist

Fire Recruitment is looking for Asbestos removalists to work for one of our clients.

We have the following locations available:

- Nelson
- West Coast
- Dunedin.

You will be working full-time permanent, 40 hours per week.

This is a physically demanding position; you will be required to remove Class A and B asbestos from demolition sites, both commercial and residential.

We’re also looking for Class 5 drivers for the same client, if you have experience in carting and dumping materials, please contact us.

- Have reliable transport to get to and from work.
- Have a good work ethic.
- Have a drive to learn and develop in the job.
- Disclose all criminal convictions as some sites require clearance.
- Pass a pre-employment drug test.

Pay rates for the below levels:

- No experience
- require course: $24-$26 per hour.
- Entry-level with cert: $26-$30 per hour.
- B-class Supervisor $30-$35 per hour.
- A-Class Supervisor$35-$45+ per hour.

Pay rate will be negotiated on your experience and location you’re available to work in.
