AngelCare is a compassionate and dedicated local aged care agency focused on providing high-quality, personalised care to seniors in their own homes. Our mission is to ensure that our clients receive the compassionate care they deserve, allowing them to maintain their independence, dignity, and joy.

We are seeking a range of different caregivers to join our team and provide support to our clients. This role offers potential flexibility in hours, from clients who simply need someone to pop-in and do some light cleaning, to full-time 24/7 rotational hospital grade care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Personal Care**: Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- **Morning and Night Routines**: Ensure a smooth and comfortable start and end to the client’s day.
- **Meal Preparation**: Plan and prepare nutritious meals that cater to the client’s dietary needs.
- **Household Assistance**: Perform light housekeeping tasks, including tidying, laundry, and general upkeep.
- **Companionship**: Provide emotional support, engage in meaningful conversations, and accompany the client on outings or appointments.
- **Health Monitoring**: Observe and report any changes in the client’s condition to ensure their well-being.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience in Senior Care**: Proven experience working with high-needs clients in a caregiving capacity.
- **Flexibility**: Willingness to adjust to the client’s desired schedule and work collaboratively to establish a routine that suits both parties.
- **First Aid Certification**: Must be certified in first aid or willing to obtain certification.
- **Police Check**: A clear police check is required for this role.
- **Full Working Rights for New Zealand**: Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
- **Own Car and Full Driving License**:You may be required to transport clients to and from appointments, to do groceries, or to visit family. Car must have up to date WOF.
- **Ability to Manage Client Independently**:You will be working alone in the clients home and need to be able to manage the clients needs, your own time, and be able to provide quality care without direct instruction.
