Laundry Worker

**We are seeking a Laundry Worker to join our team at Christchurch Central Laundry located in Addington where you will provide laundry service to the 6 care homes in Christchurch. This is a Permanent, Part-time working Saturday to Tuesday 6.30AM-1PM.**

**Where You Will Make an Impact**:

- Ensuring all care is taken with the residents' personal clothing and returned to owners.
- Operating all laundry equipment as specified.
- Meeting of daily schedule to keep laundry up to date and advising Manager of any issues that impact on the maintenance of this.
- Maintaining clean/dirty delineation areas within the laundry.
- Monitoring of linen supplies and advising line manager of replacement needs.
- Ensure all residents are treated with dignity and respect.

**What**
**About You**:

- Previous experience working in a commercial laundry is preferred, however not essential as we will provide training.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, enthusiasm, strong empathy, and a passion for making a difference to our residents’ lives.
- You will be a team player, with the ability to work independently, and who is prepared to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into whatever needs to get done.
- Have reliable transport or travel arrangements.
