Packer in Nightshift

Bread & Butter Bakery, located in Central Auckland / Grey Lynn, is looking for someone to support our team of packers in our night shift.

This position will be part of a small team of packers, who are responsible for packing orders for wholesale customers. As a packer, you will be responsible for accurate processing and packing of orders, following up of packing mistakes, communication with the production teams and management, and being a team player. At times you may also be asked to assist the bakers with jobs in the bread production, including but not limited to cleaning, assisting with loading the oven or traying up products.

We make a large range of natural leavened, organic sourdough breads, bread rolls, and yeasted products, pastries, cakes and biscuits.

The ideal applicant will have:

- Some understanding of production and baking techniques
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent time management
- NO ISSUES with working night shift
- An good command of the English language
- The ability to work well with others and under pressure in a busy environment
- MUST HAVE own transport as the position has late night starts and early morning finishes
- A commitment to high personal and professional standards

**Weekend availability a must** This position offers approximately 25 - 35+ hours per week, including weekend work when needed.

**Salary**: $23.50 - 25.00 /hour
