These positions all provide exciting development opportunities for clinical psychologists at any career stage, working as part of the Starship Consult Liaison Team and with the relevant medical subspecialty teams.

We are Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland. We are part of Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand, the overarching organisation for New Zealand’s national health service. We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand. Our main sites are Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Starship Children’s Hospital, located in central Auckland.

Te Toka Tumai | Starship Child Health is a dedicated paediatric healthcare service and major teaching centre committed to delivering whānau-centered care that focuses on the needs of the child first, and values whānau (family) as an important member of the care team.

**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

We have full-time or part-time roles available within the Starship Consult Liaison Team, for Clinical Psychologists to provide high quality clinical psychology assessments and interventions for children and adolescents and their family/whānau attending the Starship Paediatric Endocrine & Diabetes Service, the Starship Paediatric Complex Pain Team, and the Starship Gastroenterology Service. We can look at any combination of role - full-time or part-time, and happy to discuss various options in the interview.

We are a friendly, hard-working and motivated service that provide mental health assessments and interventions for children; adolescents and their whānau (family) attending Starship inpatient and outpatient services.

**Ngā** Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**

As a Registered Clinical Psychologist, you will:
Provide a high quality; evidence based clinical psychological service to children and families. There is potential to do some neuropsychology assessments also.
- Have prior clinical psychology experience working with children and adolescents. Previous clinical experience with paediatric medical services is an advantage but not a requirement
- Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to specialist information/ knowledge to the planning of care.
- Maintain a clinical caseload and administrative systems.
