Considering teaching in N.S.W? Meet with visiting Principals from Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga (CEDWW) in the Auckland offices of anzuk Education

From Thursday 28th to Saturday 30th September, Principals from CEDWW will be interviewing N.Z-based teachers in Auckland who are interested in teaching opportunities within their network of 29 schools (24 Primary and 5 Secondary.)

**THE REGION**

Located in the Riverina district of New South Wales, CEDWW covers an area over half the size of the North Island of New Zealand. CEDWW currently employs over 1100 teachers and 600 support staff; their aim for this trip is to connect with graduate, early career and experienced teachers to be considered for a number of vacancies within their remit of 29 schools.

With large regional cities such as Wagga Wagga and Albury as well as smaller regional areas like Griffith and Leeton, there are communities and opportunities for everyone.

**THE OPPORTUNITIES**

With a network of 29 schools (24 Primary and 5 Secondary), the visiting CEDWW Principals will be looking to interview teachers for consideration for most schools within their network. Whilst being Catholic is not a prerequisite for employment within CEDWW, teachers will be supportive and show capacity to work within the Catholic framework of the school.

With a network of 24 Primary schools, we are keen to interview Primary teachers who are open to teaching in regional and rural areas within CEDWW.

**THE SALARIES**

Teacher salaries in N.S.W are among the highest in the world, with graduate teacher salaries starting from approx. $80,000NZD This increases up to approx. $120,000NZD for experienced teachers with their full registration with the NZ Teaching Council (based on their years of experience.)

**THE INTERVIEWS**

Hosted from the Auckland CBD offices of anzuk Education, we are hosting 3 full days of interviews from Thursday 28th to Saturday 30th September.

Being the first week of the Term 3 holidays, we will look to prioritise interviews for teachers throughout the day. Most interviews will take place between 9am-5pm, however after hours or digital interviews may be available on request for those not able to attend..
