Waiter

**Dynasty** **Restaurant** is looking for one full-time waiter who is sincere, customer-focused, enthusiastic, and with a sufficient understanding of customer service to join our Porirua City Centre restaurant.

**Key Information**:

- Good pay of $28.18 to $30.00 per hour.
- 35-50 hrs per week on shift.
- Dynasty Restaurant opens 7 days a week
- Must be able to work on some weekends, Christmas and holiday seasons (Some Public Holidays may be closed)

**Basic Requirements**:

- Long-term commitment required
- Good eye for detail and an ability to learn fast
- A "can-do" attitude
- Flexibility on working hours.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greeting guests, presenting, explaining, and suggesting menu items to guests.
- Taking drink and food orders.
- Staying attentive to the needs of guests in the dining area, and reporting any issues which require the restaurant manager's attention.
- Delivering food from the kitchen to the guests.
- Ensuring the food order is made correctly by kitchen staff and dishes are presentable for guests.
- Following health and safety codes/standards with regard to food handling.
- Setting up tables, arranging cutleries, wiping tables etc.
- Delivering bills to the customer and accepting payments.

- Porirua, Wellington: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
