Our Product Engineering division, an arm of Digital Services is seeking two experienced** Test Engineers **to join our innovative department on a 12-month fixed term basis.

Reporting to the Digital Test Manager, this role has key accountability for testing solutions that meet the specialised needs of our organisation and supporting the consistent delivery of high-quality digital outcomes and solutions.

Some key responsibilities for this role include:

- Quality Assurance tasks on Solutions that are developed, configured, or maintained
- Engaging in all aspects of Software life cycle to ensure that the deliverables are fit for purpose and meet the Business requirements
- Collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders’ enterprise wide
- Validate end to end Business process from end user perspective

These positions are **full-time** (37.5 hours/ week), **fixed term **(12-month) opportunities, with a salary range of $78,000 - $100,00 depending on skills and experience.

These positions will be based at our modern offices at the Newmarket Campus, as well as across the City campus as required. Flexible working is also widely utilised and is dependent on the requirements of your role at the given time.

Our Ideal applicants will be able to demonstrate substantial skills in Testing both Functional and Non-Functional with enterprise-class systems. Confidence to operate in a large and complex organisation will be essential to your success in these roles, as the university is one of NZ’s largest tech hubs.

You’ll be joining an established agile team of engineers, so you’ll need to have an innovative and investigative mindset. This will enable to be flexible and adaptive in changing environments and to meet altered requirements.

You’ll also need:

- The ability to pick-up new domain areas, platforms, tools and processes quicky
- Test Strategy, Test Planning, Test Case design
- APIs and backend Testing
- Testing of Integration platforms
- Sound understanding of Test Automation

The primary objective of Connect is to provide technology-related services that support the University's core functions of Administration, Teaching, Learning and Research, together with supporting faculty staff and enhancing the student experience.

As part of Digital Services, the QA Testing team sits within Product Engineering Department, based in our Newmarket Campus. We are committed to the consistent delivery of high-quality digital outcomes that enable learning, teaching and research in an Agile based IT environment.
