Role Overview:
As a QA Supervisor in construction, you'll ensure projects meet top quality standards. Your role includes setting up quality control procedures, auditing sites, and training teams on QA tools and processes. With your attention to detail and organization, you'll ensure all work meets project specs, industry standards, and client needs.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Control and Compliance:

- Conduct bi-monthly quality assurance audits across Livefirm construction projects to ensure standards are met.
- Perform regular site inspections to identify and document defects, non-conformances, and improvement areas.
- Set up and manage site documentation like RFI registers, inspection logs, and QA records from start to finish.
- Lead Risk Review Meetings throughout the project, addressing risks proactively.
- Analyze defect trends and non-conformances, collaborating with the team to implement corrective actions.
- Ensure site teams complete and submit QA documentation on time, escalating issues to the QA Manager as needed.
- Maintain QA checklists and asset tracking systems in Autodesk for efficient project monitoring.
- Work with site teams to ensure compliance with contractor QA requirements and client specifications.
- Develop and implement project-specific Quality Management Plans (QMPs) and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) to align with project goals.
- regularly communicate with the main contractor’s QA team to address potential quality issues early and ensure submittals are approved on time, helping to maintain project quality and schedule.

2. Administrative Responsibilities:

- Oversee the upload and distribution of project documents like specifications, product manuals, and drawings on PlanGrid/Autodesk from the start of the project.
- Help develop, revise, and update QA documents, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Quality Management Plans (QMPs), and inspection forms.
- Coordinate project closeout, ensuring all QA documentation is complete and properly archived.

3. Training and Development:

- Train and support site teams on using Autodesk, defect tracking, and quality control systems.
- Lead workshops for site management and supervisors on conducting quality inspections and managing project documentation.
- Provide training on specific construction products or materials to ensure proper installation and compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Stay updated on QA best practices through ongoing training, including ITP development, internal auditing, and obtaining relevant certifications.

4. ISO Management System and Compliance:

- Support the maintenance of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ensuring all projects meet required standards.
- Report risks, improvement opportunities, and quality issues to management.
- Work with Health & Safety and Environmental teams to report accidents, incidents, and improvement suggestions.
- Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits to evaluate the quality management system's effectiveness.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards according to company policies.

5. Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

- Identify areas for improving quality processes and suggest enhancements for more efficient project execution.
- Evaluate new technologies and QA tools to boost project performance and quality assurance.
- Actively contribute to team meetings and collaborate across functions to enhance overall project outcomes.

Key Competencies:

- Highly organized with strong time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced construction setting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across different disciplines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and construction software like Autodesk Build, PlanGrid, or similar platforms.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to explain complex quality processes clearly to site teams and stakeholders.
- Skilled in problem-solving with a focus on identifying and resolving quality issues early.
- In-depth understanding of construction methodologies and industry quality control standards.
