Groundsman/facilities Caretaker

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Caretaker/Groundsman to join our team. Reporting to the Grounds Leader, Office and Services Manager, and Company Directors, you will be responsible for delivering superior caretaking and grounds maintenance services in alignment with scheduled allocations. Your support and assistance to the building management team will be instrumental in the smooth operation of designated buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain internal and external common areas of buildings at exceptional standards.
- Conduct various tasks including but not limited to blowing, sweeping, mowing, trimming, pruning, rubbish removal, wet and forget and water blasting.
- Care for external grounds, gardens, and related landscaping duties.
- Oversee property-related inspections and organize maintenance activities in collaboration with contractors when needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations through regular inspections.
- Uphold company standards through daily property/maintenance inspections, breach checks, and compliance verifications.
- Coordinate and attend departmental meetings and execute or oversee light maintenance duties.
- Supervise outdoor and grounds maintenance, ensuring security integrity and cleanliness of the building.
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders including ABM staff, cleaners, residents, owners, and contractors.
- Maintain inventory and restock chemicals/consumables, promptly reporting any deficiencies or repair needs to management.

Pay: $28.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
