We work within the public utilities and services space with a particular focus on waters infrastructure, open spaces, city cleaning, general civil works and nursery services. We deliver a range of operations and maintenance services under long term contracts, as well as taking on specific project works.

InfraCore takes pride in maintaining and caring for parks and reserves providing active and passive facilities for the enjoyment of the communities we serve.

Our work includes everything from annual bedding displays, perennial gardens, mowing, weed control, arboricultural services, revegetation programs, sports field renovations and the delivery of landscape projects to enhance the local environment.

The Structures team look after the maintenance and repair of playgrounds, jetties, boat ramps, walkways, bridges, tracks, fences and other outdoor structures

**About the role**

This role will be a part of our structures team and will be in charge of the repairs and maintenance of playgrounds around the Rotorua District. Tasks includes:

- Maintaining outdoor structures such as playgrounds, fences, retaining walls, concreting, Jetties
- Construction and maintenance of paths and tracks both hard surface and natural.
- Playground maintenance and renewal
- Construction and renewal of assets
- Clearing and maintaining as required boat ramps and jetties in the region

**About you**

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has a current NZ drivers license
- Carry out playground inspections and maintenance to the required specifications
- Be highly detail focused
- Work in a methodical manner
- Use online app based programme to record inspections
- Strong communication skills
- Be adaptable
- Proven capability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated
- Understanding and commitment to hazard identification and risk assessment
- Be physically fit,
- Positive, punctual and reliable
