**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
Te Toka Tumai Auckland is looking for local students undertaking the AUT Perioperative Practice degree programme to work part time in an assistant role within our Anaesthetic Technician team. This will complement your study and learning by providing an opportunity to work as part of the multidisciplinary team in a busy perioperative environment at one of Āotearoa’s largest healthcare providers.

This is a newly developed role and we are recruiting to multiple positions across our different sites. Varying shift patterns and days are available. This is a limited patient facing position, but you will spend some of your time within the operating theatre.

This role is primarily a non-clinical role but contributes to the effectiveness of the operating theatres by undertaking tasks delegated by members of the multidisciplinary team to support

a safe, effective, and efficient theatre environment. This role offers flexibility to work around

your university schedule and gives you the opportunity to learn the non-clinical aspects of the perioperative environment.
