**About the Company & Culture**: Our client is a leading furniture supplier to the NZ furniture industry, having operated and evolved over a period of more than 40 years. You would be joining a supportive and dedicated team, with a company who care about sustainability and support an ethical supply chain.

**About the role**: You will have one warehouse staff member as a direct report, and will be responsible for overseeing all Tauranga Warehouse Operations, including (but not limited to), incoming and outgoing stock, liaising with Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI) in relation to incoming containers, inspections and audits, as well as stocktakes, warehouse maintenance and more.

**Day to day responsibilities**:

- Acting TFO (Transactional Facility Operator) liaise with MPI around incoming containers, and cooperate with all MPI inspections and audits
- Liaise with Customer Services, Freight Companies and clients
- Sales orders and invoicing
- Health & Safety, particularly around manual handling and equipment operation
- Operate Forklift, Order Picker and Reach Truck

**Start Date**:ASAP

**Days/ Hours**: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

**About You**:Ideally you will have warehousing and / or dispatch experience, and previously supervised staff. You will need to be physically fit and able, as there will be manual handling in this role, and you will also need to have:

- A current Class 1 Drivers licence, Forklift Certificate and F endorsement
- Be comfortable working at heights
- Good communication and relationship building skills
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to health and safety and maintaining a safe work environment
- Good computer skills and experience using the Microsoft suite

You will also need to be either a NZ Citizen, Permanent resident or have the appropriate Visa in place to enable you to work in a Permanent position in NZ.

You will also need to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening test if shortlisted for the position.
