Surfacing Manager

We are looking for an experienced Surfacing Manager to join our Wairarapa team, based in Masterton.

Reporting to the Branch Manager and part of the Senior Management team your role is critical in overseeing the Surfacing branch functions. Including projects and contracts commercial performance, client liaison and work programming, budget control, procurement, managing a team and site management, along with complying with all appropriate legislation, company policies and procedures and industry best practice.

**About you**:

- As an experienced, resilient people leader, you will have previous experience in Surfacing, along with a demonstrated background in an environment that has a strong safety culture

**Key skills and attributes**:

- A Civil Engineering or Business qualification desirable
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in Civil Engineering
- You’re commercially and financially astute
- An excellent communicator both verbally and written and a person who can build long standing relationships
- You’re a people person with experience managing direct reports with a coaching and influencing emphasis
- You’re a detail oriented, well organised person with the ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects
- A strong focus on health and safety and the requirements within the industry.

- Base Salary range $90,000 - $110,000 per annum
