**Carejobz is recruiting an Occupational Therapist for a new role at our client's hospital.**

The position with be providing services for people coming out of hospital post-stroke, following an injury (under the Non-Acute Rehab contract) and also with medically unwell older people presenting to ED or Acute wards.

This role will see the successful applicant helping to transform our client's health services in the community.

You will work with our client's colleagues in the acute medical unit and the Older Persons and Rehabilitation wards to identify whānau who can beneficially progress their rehabilitation at home, initially with more intensive input from our team, and then transferring to Community Rehabilitation as required.

Whilst this role will have a particular focus on Stroke, the service to Older People and those discharged following an acute medical illness, as well as non-acute rehabilitation, will also form part of your scope of service.
