**Mō te tūranga - About the role**
We are looking for an experienced Otolaryngologist who can provide clinical expertise to deliver quality care for our region. Southland Hospital, being one of the newest hospitals in the South Island of New Zealand, provides modern and easily accessible facilities for staff and patients alone. We are a base hospital covering a wide geographical area therefore creating an enormous scope for variety in the work of a talented professional like you.
In this role, you will assist with the education and supervision of surgical staff and medical students. As the ENT practitioner on site at Southland Hospital, you will be supported by the clinical leader and colleagues from Dunedin Hospital, who are also undertaking clinics at Southland Hospital. You will see the full range of patients in this role and perform a variety of procedures such as endoscopic sinus surgery, middle ear surgery, facial skin cancer surgery and paediatric ENT procedures, all major head & neck surgery is currently carried out at Dunedin Hospital.
