We are Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland. We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand. Clinical Psychologist
At Kari Centre the team believes anyone can experience mental health problems and that with the right support people can recover from these experiences to move on successfully with their lives. Clinical practice is based on fostering hope with an emphasis on working in partnership with clients and whānau/family.
Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
As a member of this professional you'll be continually stimulated and challenged as you work with children and adolescents with moderate to severe mental health issues.
We need an experienced registered Clinical Psychologist. A current annual practising certificate (Clinical Scope of Practice) is required. You will impress with your high level of time management and organisational skills. Demonstrate interest in, or past experience working alongside people with psychosis and /or working with youth would be an advantage. We also have a significant number of male service users so we welcome applicants who have demonstrated ability to work effectively with this group.
You will bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a strong commitment to a multi-disciplinary team approach having previously worked within a CAMHS or Adult MH sector. The team has a strong emphasis on flexibility, teamwork, collaboration and ongoing professional development.
