As an Administrator Client Services in the Division of Health Sciences, you will provide proactive administrative support to one or more departments ensuring the smooth operation of their work areas.

Our team of professionals have expertise in a variety of fields, and we currently have multiple exciting opportunities available to join us in the following areas:
Dunedin School of Medicine, Department of Preventive and Social Medicine
Supporting the Head of Department, you will act as a first point of contact including diary/calendar management and assisting with correspondence. You will also provide general administrative support for the wider department and academic staff such as, project and committee support, meeting organisation, travel arrangements and invoice/purchase order processing.

Dunedin School of Medicine, Department of Pathology
As the primary administrator for the Medical Laboratory Science programme, you will oversee maintenance of student papers on Blackboard and assist in the preparation of course materials and examination administration. You will also coordinate annual clinical placements for 4th-Year students and provide general administrative support to academic staff and the wider department including meeting support and processing student enquiries.

Otago Medical School
Assessments Administration role, supporting the overall assessment processes for the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree (MBChB). You will be the primary coordinator for assessment results for all medical students. This is an autonomous role supporting key academic leadership positions across the Medical programme, a combination of on-site and remote support. It will require a high level of skill in Microsoft Excel and the ability to manage large amounts of data.

School of Pharmacy
You will work alongside a team of 3 administrators and a Lead Administrator, providing a range of administration support to the Dean of Pharmacy including diary management, organising travel, assisting with academic promotion and research documentation, organising internal school events, and minute taking.

- Previous experience in a busy and/or complex administration environment.
- A passion for customer service and delivering exceptional service to customers.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programmes.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to work as part of a team and individually.
- The ability to be calm, adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
- An ongoing commitment to positive outcomes for our students, staff and visitors.

The Client Services team is part of the Division of Shared Services, a team of highly skilled professional staff responsible for delivering an outstanding student and staff experience through high quality, effective service delivery to all of the University’s internal and external customers.

There are multiple permanent, full time (37.5 hours) positions available, located in Dunedin.

We also have Kaiwhakahaere Tari positions available. These roles are part of the Administrator Client Services function but in addition they support the implementation of the Māori Strategic Framework activities, the University’s commitment to the success of Māori students and staff and contribute to a culture of whakawhanaungatanga in our workplaces. These positions are remunerated at Level 5, with the appointment range $61,531 to $65,898.
