Work with Ventia as a Maintenance Plumber in Palmerston North for centralAlliance, where your work is vital for the continued effective functioning of the Palmerston North Hospital enabling clinical people to deliver critical health services to our community.

**Responsibilities**:
On a day-to-day basis, your duties will include (but not limited to).
- Performing Planned Preventative Maintenance activities, fault diagnosis, reactive repairs.
- Engaging, organising, and working with subcontractors to carry out specialised tasks.
- Completing all related paperwork as necessary in a timely manner e.g., timesheets, purchase orders, job dockets, minor estimates, technical report

The position will as require participation in the site “on call” roster or undertaking approved overtime to satisfy service requirements.

About You

To be considered for this role:

- You will ideally need to be a fully registered and licensed plumber, but we also will consider those with a limited license or those that are studying towards their licensing or finishing their apprenticeship & waiting on their registration).
- Knowledge of plumbing and drainage materials and methods, building and safety standards.
