**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

Waikato district Clinical Dietetics service is looking for a dietitian to join our team on a casual basis. This role will involve providing dietetic services across inpatient and outpatient settings, including community (adults or paediatrics) and renal clinics, as required. We are looking for clinicians who can cover one or more of the areas described. The position would suit a dietitian with at least 2 years clinical experience in a health or disability setting.

**Mō tātou Ratonga | About our Service**

You will work within a close team that provide dietetic services to adults and children across the Waikato region. The dietetic team work in a variety of areas including inpatient medical, renal, surgical and rehabilitation wards, critical care, outpatient clinics, rural hospitals, and community settings including the patient’s own home. There may be opportunities to gain clinical experiences across these areas.

**Mōu | About you**

Required skills & experience you will need to be considered for this role:

- Registered member of Dietitians Board (New Zealand) with current Annual Practicing certificate
- Recent experience working within a health setting
- Knowledge and understanding of nutritional assessment and interventions using the NCPT
- Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team working towards patient focused goals
- Current valid full New Zealand drivers licence
- Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
