Consultant Otolaryngologist

**Location**: Wellington Regional Hospital, Kenepuru Hospital and Hutt Hospital

**Service**: Otolaryngology (Ears, Nose and Throat - ENT) Service

**Contract**: Part time 33 hours p/w, Fixed term 3 months (6 June 2025 - 8 September 2025)

**Salary**: As per ASMS SECA

**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**

We are looking for General Otolaryngologists to cover sabbatical leave (we may have more FTEs starting early 2025).

Some undergraduate teaching is expected as well as supervision and teaching of registrars in the otolaryngology training rotation.

**Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team**

The department currently consists of ten general and subspecialist surgeons who provide a wide range of service to the greater Wellington region and tertiary level care for the wider region. Current recruitment to the sub-regional service will see the team increase to 11 surgeons.

**Moū - About you**
- Vocationally registered in Otolaryngology with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
- FRACS or equivalent to be able to register for vocational registration with the MCNZ
- Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
- Able to provide consistently high standards of medical care
- Relevant experience and training
