Job prerequisite - Sewing Machinist:
Must have relevant NZ experience in a similar area. Must be able to work with heavy and weighted fabric Ability to analyse work load and plan accordingly Exceptional Follow up Skills ,Multitasking Capability Attention to Detail and Well Organised Must have good work reference

**Job duties**:

- Set up sewing machines and overlockers
- Set up needles, bobbins and other parts of the machine to suit the fabric type
- Sewing according to the patterns
- Work on part or all of a products
- Clean and maintain sewing machines
- Program stitch patterns into a sewing machine
- Operate thread-trimming and other non-sewing machines
- Repair or alter items and do some hand-sewing
- Trim fabric, hemming and other finishing work
- Discuss daily work requirements with Manager or employer
- Complete by folding, ironing or adjusting as per requirement
