We are looking for an ambassador for Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour as Night Manager. The ambassador should an eye for detail, a passion for creating magnifique luxury experience for our guests and developing a wonderful team.

**Job Description**:
Our Ambassador will:

- Complete thorough audits of all daily revenue and postings, making the necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy of reporting.
- Collate paperwork for departures, including credit card and company charges to be forwarded to Accounts department.
- Process all management accounts as required.
- Ensure that reservations details for in house-guests are recorded correctly, ie. room rates, dates of stay, authority to charge.
- Complete relevant computer tasks in relation to Night Audit functions, including posting room charges and daily room revenue.
- Complete 'back up' procedures to save all data.
- Prepare and distribute relevant reports. Maintain hotel weekly and monthly statistics.
- Ensure the safety and security of the property and the smooth and efficient running of the Hotel's overnight operation.
- Chief Warden during Overnight shift and in charge of Emergency operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Full New Zealand Drivers Licence with a clean driving history, manual preferred
- Food Hygiene preferred
- Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role or in a leadership role, preferably including 5 star experience
- Hold a Hotel or Hospitality Management Diploma or Degree, minimum level 4 qualification
- Projects professional image at all times through personal presentation / interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience in handling emergency situations, guest conflict and leading a team.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Valid LCQ/Managers Licence
- PMS - Opera or Opera Cloud
- Strong presentation and organisation skills
- Ability to work in the fast paced environment and be proactive
- Previous hotel or administration experience
- Positive bubbly personality
