A prime opportunity for a Cyclic Foreperson to secure a great job on Auckland’s slice of paradise, Waiheke Island. Just a 35-minute ferry ride from Auckland Harbour, this is an excellent opportunity to expand on your experience and cement a place in our team.

This is a varied role in a small collaborative team and as such, being a team player is an absolute must. When we say no two days will look the same, we mean it

We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual with industry experience. You will be leading a small team and be responsible for meeting the daily targets and completing data collection reports.

A typical day may involve:

- Patrols of the network, undertaking find & fix, channel and cesspit maintenance
- Sign maintenance and repairs, pothole& edge break repairs, sweeping of carriageways with a tractor broom
- Emergency call outs and inspections to the network Physical tasks including concreting and occasional timber work will be required on occasion.

If you are physically fit and enjoy spending your days outdoors and on your feet, this could be the position for you. This is a Monday to Friday role, with the potential for rewarded overtime work on weekends. Along with a positive attitude and your commitment to safe worksite practices, we would value the following skills and experience:

- Class 2 Full New Zealand driver’s licence is a must-have
- Class 4 New Zealand driver’s licence and WTR endorsements would be advantageous
- Comfortable driving a range of machinery including Watercarts, Rollers, Loaders and small plant (training can be provided)
- Experience operating in the civil construction industry
- Ability to work hands-on and unsupervised as well as within a team Commitment to a high standard of Health & Safety

As this role is based on Waiheke, it would be preferable for you to be based on the island, however, some of our team successfully commute from Auckland via Ferry. Talk to us about how we can best support you into this role.
