Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a passion for improving production efficiency and ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a desire to work in the fast-paced and dynamic environment of infant formula production?

The modern infant formula blending and packing plant is conviently located in Mangere.

This is a day shift role (5:45 AM - 6:00 PM) - 2 days on, 2 days off, then 3 days on. You’ll also have every 2nd weekend off meaning you only work 7 days a fortnight BUT there is also the opportunity for overtime if you’re looking for extra earnings.

*Night shift is also avaiable*

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conducting routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Working with the production team to identify and resolve equipment issues quickly and efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
- Participating in equipment installation, commissioning, and modification projects, ensuring that equipment is installed and commissioned to meet safety and quality standards.
- Developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and inventory records.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations and company policies.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Trade Certified Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance engineering role in a manufacturing environment ideally in Dairy/Food/Beverage
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations.
