**ABOUT THE ROLE
Jade Software has created a brand-new opportunity for a Senior DevOps Engineer. The role being new and unique at Jade, means the successful person will have the opportunity to make a huge impact across the business.

Reporting directly to our Director of Technology, the Senior DevOps Engineer will collaborate extensively across our Business Units with the opportunity to make an immediate contribution to our Jade ThirdEye product and Jade Platform direction. As the lead contributor to our DevOps initiative, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure solutions, and other tools and automations to continuously optimise team productivity.

Responsibilities include:

- Develop and expand cross-company knowledge and skills in the DevOps domain.
- Design, implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to optimise deployment cycles.
- Design, provision and manage both cloud and on-premise resources.
- Provide t echnical leadership in areas such as; DevOps processes & architecture, containerised solutions, monitoring, and system test automation. Foster DevOps capability across the organisation through coaching and mentoring.

**ABOUT YOU
A talented DevOps Engineer, you will have:

- 12 years minimum of extensive, proven DevOps and/or Software product build, test & release automation experience on business-critical systems or for significant commercial products.
- Strong experience with modern Dev(Sec)Ops approaches and technologies, cloud architectures, and cloud data storage technologies.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC); Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, ARM Templates and/or Octopus.
- Strong experience with containerisation technologies.
- Strong understanding of data security.
- Proven experience in Windows and Linux Server administration, and infrastructure architecture and network protocols.
- Proven ability to think strategically about technology, product, and business challenges.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Willingness and desire to mentor and share knowledge.

In-depth understanding of the Jade Platform and C/C++ experience are desirable qualities.
