We are currently seeking a talented Asset Strategy Engineer to join our team.

**The opportunity**

As an Asset Strategy Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of our asset fleet strategies, ensuring optimal investment planning and enhancing asset performance. You will also role model success in several technical and people functions:

- Collaboratively working with the Asset Lifecycle Manager and other teams to refine asset management plans and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Developing and maintaining asset fleet strategies, identifying intervention and investment plans to optimize asset performance.
- Assessing compliance with asset management policies and performance expectations, while implementing risk management frameworks consistent with industry guidelines.
- Leveraging utility-scale technology to drive asset performance improvements and enhance investment decisions.
- Identifying safety risks and prioritizing health and safety outcomes in all asset investment strategies.

**Who we’re looking for**

To be considered for this role you will naturally be a people leader and possess strong interpersonal skills, as well as:

- Tertiary qualification in electrical engineering.
- 4+ years of experience in the electricity supply industry preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in asset management and the use of asset management systems.
- Familiarity with assets typically deployed on electricity distribution networks and their lifecycle.
- A passion for challenging existing practices to drive continuous improvement in asset performance and safety outcomes.
- Excellent time management and teamwork skills, with the ability to provide guidance and support to junior staff.
- Strong analytical capabilities, enabling you to make data-driven recommendations for improved investment outcomes.
