**The Opportunity**
Do you want to work for an iconic New Zealand business and global market leader, with exciting opportunities to practice your craft? In this unique role within our Group OD team where you will be a key contributor to the growth, development and implementation of OD strategies across our global organisation.
This is a new role and rare opportunity for a dynamic and passionate person to get stuck into democratising learning at Gallagher, to create a truly learning organisation. A unique opportunity to help shape and deliver Gallaghers group wide learning and capability growth strategies, spanning 10 regions globally.
Working with the wider group People & Brand team you will partner with people across the organisation to understand where and how we can better surface and meet the growth and development needs of our people and the organisation.
You will work with a cross functional team to create an ecosystem of learning by leveraging multiple suppliers and mediums to deliver cohesive group learning programmes, all supported by a supportive ecosystem that helps our people bring learning concepts back into their context.

**To be successful in this role you need**
- Proven experience in designing and delivering a range of different strategies to optimise the learning experience by making learning employee-centric, relevant, timely and impactful.
- You will be working with a broad group of stakeholders so your ability to build relationships, be approachable and down to earth and navigate complexity and nuance will be pivotal to your success in this role.
- Is commercially focused and has the drive to get things done with the capability and credibility to work with all layers of an organisation.
- Has experience leading L&D strategy, programmes and initiatives
- Experience designing and delivering learning using proven adult learning methods.
- A high level of competency in facilitation and leading groups to deliver clear and measurable outcomes
- Experience in leading cross functional teams in collaborative and inclusive way
- Demonstrated planning and project delivery skills, with an understanding of iterative delivery and agile approaches
- Well-developed communication skills, including the ability to tell stories which help to persuade and influence others to obtain optimal outcomes
- The ability to step back and out from the noise to prioritise work effectively, under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships across a broad range of individuals at all levels in the organisation
- A highly motivated, achievement-oriented and innovative approach
