If so an exciting opportunity has become available to work as a PRIMHIS Clinician/ Therapist and join our passionate and multi-disciplinary team at PRIMHIS in the beautiful, multi-cultural setting of Rotorua as we expand to offer a service to young people & rangatahi aged 15 upwards into adulthood.
- About the role
We are looking for a versatile Clinician with proven therapy skills to join our supportive multi disciplinary team of therapists and psychologists at the Primary Mental Health & Intervention Service (PRIMHIS) in Rotorua. You would working across a range of locations in the Rotorua region, offering best practice brief therapeutic interventions within the framework of Feedback Informed Treatment to young people with mild to moderate mental health concerns. There will be opportunities to facilitate groups, work with adults and whanau, as well as collaborate with colleagues from other organisations & primary care, such as Health Improvement Practitioners.
- Service hours - Monday to Friday 8 -4.30 pm (possible option for evening clinics)
We have full time FTE available & will consider both full & part time positions.

About you
- You will have experience with the right talking therapy skill sets to work within primary mental health using a brief intervention approach.
- You will have the ability to formulate and adapt your approach to the unique situation, needs and cultural identity of the individual.
- You will be an experienced, motivated and reliable clinician with ability to work autonomously in a role that requires high level relational skills with all our stakeholders.
- You will be a registered health or social care professional with a current APC (or are eligible for and seeking registration)
- You will hold a current full clean NZ drivers license, and meet requirements for the children’s worker safety checks.
- Salary range
As per relevant MECA pro-rated to hours worked.
