Waitemata is a dynamic and progressive District at the forefront of innovative health delivery, working with New Zealand’s most culturally diverse populations.
We have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Nurse to join our Acute and Emergency Medicine team. This role will support and enhance ward teams to facilitate timely discharge and transition of clients from acute to home or community care providers.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse with advanced nursing assessment skills and a passion to develop further leadership skills and step up into a senior nurse position.
We are looking for the following:
- New Zealand Registered Nurse with current annual practising certificate
- RN Level4 with current Portfolio
- A post Graduate certificate in Advanced Nursing Practise
- Currently studying towards a Post Grad Diploma
- At least 5 years’ post registration practise in acute medicine or gerontology
