**The Role**
We have an exciting opportunity for a SAP Functional Specialist with a focus on Finance and FICO to join our team on a permanent basis. The key focus of this role is to provide technical analysis, solution delivery, and support, working closely with the Finance team, and other internal stakeholders. To understand business needs, analyse business requirements and processes, and translate that into solution delivery This is an important Information Services role to support Synlait take SAP finance to the next level in a technically current SAP environment.
The main responsibilities of this role include..
- The key focus of this role is to provide technical solution analysis and product development for new and existing SAP solutions related to SAP Finance / FICO. The role will work closely with the Architects, technical leads, and external partners to evaluate the technical feasibility of SAP solution options.
- The role will also work with the Synlait’s business units and other internal clients to understand business needs, analyse business requirements and processes. The role will propose solution recommendations based upon the alignment with the SAP ERP strategy and architecture and then the subsequent implementation of those technical solutions
Key to your success will be your proactive response to your customers and your ability to build strong and supportive relationships with internal and external teams.
**Skills and Experience**
To be considered for this role will require
Bachelor’s degree in computer science is highly regarded in this role as is previous industry related experience.
- Advanced level formal training, in analysis techniques and methodologies.
- Minimum 7 years industry experience in either a functional specialist, business analysis, systems analysis, or business process analysis role.
- Advanced knowledge of standard business processes would be an advantage, especially in financial processes and functions.
