**Our Next Project Clerk**

Okane has an exciting new opportunity for a Project Clerk to join our growing Operations team. This role will provide project administrative support to Operations staff including facilitating, reporting and analyzing projects and project data, at a Global level. This is a full-time role operating from either our Perth or Brisbane office.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Create and maintain project administrative tasks via Okane’s ERP Software (Deltek Vantage Point)
- Complete project setup of all billable and research and development projects.
- Check the Project Scoping Excel Template completed by PMs is compliant with Operations project set up checklists.
- Input baseline project to fit with schedule outlined in Project Scoping Template.
- Provide timely communication regarding project set up status to ensure projects are activated within reasonable timeframe.
- Monitor project completion dates, project total spend, and PO expiry dates.
- Project communication, monitoring and time tracking
- Monitor project planned backlog and communicate with Project Managers at specified regular frequency.
- Update project plans with all changes as identified by Project Managers.
- Ensure all project related reports are accurate, delivered timely and appropriate
- Complete project status reporting (i.e.: budget tracking, timeline tracking etc.)
- Update and maintain Okane’s Global project close out database including accurate reporting of final project budget status and ensure completion of project close out forms for measurement of Project Manager metrics.
- Assist with specific project requirements as required (including but not limited to: meeting minutes; formatting Technical Reports, Memos and other project documents; performing document control through the proper filing of documents on the Okane Sharepoint.; etc.).

**Knowledge, Skills and Competencies**
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong internal relationships to foster responses to requests in a timely manner while maintaining high quality work.
- High level proficiency and knowledge in Deltek VantagePoint ERP software, or willingness to learn.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with high organisational, multi-taking and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to competently use initiative to resolve tasks or problems that arise.
- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- A curious and creative mindset with a strong internal desire to innovate and improve systems and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to perform work with mínimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to provide and respond to feedback.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, working towards common goals, objectives and deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability or willingness to reach designated Operational metrics.
- Previous experience or knowledge in the mining industry is considered an asset.
