Our client, Plazmax are expanding internationally and have a bright future. They are designers and manufacturers of automated profile cutting systems, providing solutions to engineering and manufacturing industries. They are on the lookout for a CNC Press Brake Operator based at their Rotorua manufacturing facility to join their busy, innovative team.

This is a permanent full-time role, working with a small team of talented engineers and tradespeople. Typical working hours are between 7.30 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday, with a minimum 40 hours and a maximum of 45 hours per week. The hourly rate remains the same. The remuneration offered, ranges between $30.00 and $40.00 per hour depending on skill set and experience.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Pressing and folding of steel materials to be used in the manufacture of machines and equipment built by Plazmax
- Reading plans/drawings
- Operating machine to process steel plate according to individual job requirements

**The successful applicant will**:

- Have experience setting and operating CNC press brakes and a desire to further develop their CNC skills
- Be customer focused, possess good people skills and a flexible work attitude
- Have an eye for detail and a focus on getting it right first time
- Be able to communicate well in English
- Previous experience with a Delem controller and/or Profile T 3D Offline Software would be an advantage but not essential.

Flexible work hours could be an option, for the right person.
