**Job Description**:
To provide quality and timely inspection and certification services to our customers for the Industrial Regulatory Team.
- Inspection of boilers and pressure vessels in accordance with NZ Regulations and Standards.
- Inspection of Cranes in accordance with NZ Regulations and Standards.
- Welding inspection in accordance with NZ Regulations and Standards.
- This will involve inspection at client sites across Invercargill and wider Southland area.
- Identify and assist in developing and securing both new business and new business opportunities.
- Participate in or lead audits as applicable - Internal, external ( PED, IANZ) and customers ( AS3788).
- Provide training and mentoring to trainees when qualified to do so.
- 40 hrs a week with overtime opportunities

**Qualifications**:

- Requires training and qualifications such as:

- A diploma in engineering from a recognised training establishment or
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Engineering/relevant Technology or Science or
- A trade qualification in a relevant engineering or inspection discipline with minimum five years' experience or
- A 1st Class Marine Engineer’s Certificate (preferable)
- Certification Board for Inspection Personnel (CBIP) Qualifications in a relevant discipline are desirable
- A minimum of three years relevant experience in Process Industry is preferred
- Experience in the offshore industry as well as welding experience would be an advantage

- Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve problems with effective solution, can see hidden problems
- Looks beyond the obvious and doesn’t stop at the first answer
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - is able to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication setting and can get messages across that have the desired effect
- A full and current New Zealand driver licence.
