**About the role**
We are looking for a warm and welcoming individual to play a pivotal role in fostering and nurturing relationships within our community. As our Kaiwhakarite (Adminstrator), you will be at the heart of ensuring a smooth operation within our Puna Reo (ELC). You will work closely with leadership to compliment the delivery of exceptional education.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive administration assistance and services across designated functional areas. This role may also include supporting onsite activities and assisting on the floor to meet ELC requirements.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Provide high-quality administrative and technical support, including maintaining the ELC databases.
- Undertake reception duties as needed.
- Support the upkeep and ordering of site resources.
- Assisting educators in contact with children.
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with all kaimahi, tamarki, whānau and external stakeholders.
**About you**
You will also bring with you:
- A Certificate in Business Administration or Computing (Level 3)
- Full NZ Driver’s License
- Previous administration experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, Publisher)
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Confident with managing, creating and distributing of hui documentation.
As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
