**About the role**:
Tyler Wren has partnered with a market-leading insurance brokerage to find the newest member of their Personal Lines business unit. The main focus of this role is to obtain new business and to engage with existing clients while providing the most up to date insurance advice and information around product and policy. You would be engaging with a varied portfolio of clients on a daily basis, facilitating all areas of the insurance life cycle.

Some of the day to day duties of the role include:

- Processing policy renewals for your existing clients
- Negotiating insurance terms and advocating for your domestic clients
- Assessing your clients’ needs and providing tailored advice based on your findings
- Remaining up to date on insurance products and services provided by the business
- Sourcing client-centric outcomes while liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Obtaining new business through internal referrals and organic sourcing

There is great scope for internal advancement both within the Personal Lines team and the wider business. The business wants their new employees to thrive within the insurance sector, so they have crafted a comprehensive training programme that will take you through all areas of domestic insurance. Their training and initial development phase includes:

- A holistic approach towards training you on insurance process
- 3 months of sponsored education dedicated towards obtaining your Financial Services Level 5 Certificate (industry required certification)
- Developing and building a sales structure geared towards your strengths
- Coaching and guidance from management to build your business acumen and set you up for success

- Concise, adaptable verbal and written communication style
- Self-motivation and excellent time management skills
- An inquisitive nature paired with a keen desire to learn
- 1+ years experience in a sales environment preferred

The Personal Lines business unit is comprised of a mix of individuals who all bring their own unique experience and perspectives to the team. The team operates in a collaborative environment, where questions are encouraged and the sharing of ideas is promoted. A supportive management approach ensures that everyone’s talents, expertise and skills are fully utilised in order to thrive within the business. Using a data driven metric, there is consistent communication and feedback around an individual’s performance and areas of potential growth.
