We are on the hunt for a qualified Cable Jointer. Are you looking for a varied, exciting and fun role? Delta is looking for a dynamic person that can work with our variety of clients in the Electricity Distribution and Hydro Generation sectors.

You will be a self-starter that can work within a small team and is willing to trouble shoot and come up with the solutions to keep our client’s system up and running. This requires a range of tasks from new installs, maintenance and retrofitting of HV electronics and equipment.

You will have previous experience in the high voltage electricity industry and have EWRB registration.

**Responsibilities in the role**:

- Jointing and termination of underground HV/LV power cables, including OH terminations
- Adhere to Company Systems and Health, Safety and Environment procedures as well as statutory requirements
- Emergency response on customer distribution and sub-transmission cable assets.

**About you**:

- You will have knowledge of and experience in HV and LV jointing and terminating cables
- Previous appropriate industry experience
- A good work history that demonstrates a safe work ethic
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A positive approach to personal development.
- You will also be registered or be working towards registering with the Electrical Workers Registration Board as a Cable Jointer.
