A rare opportunity has become available in our sports team for someone who has started their training in Turf or for someone with a passion for this sector to train to become a Sports Turf Technician. In this role you will learn all aspects of turf maintenance and renovations including aeration, scarifying, seeding, and sand topdressing utilizing small and larger tractors.

If you are looking to get a start in the turf industry, full training will be provided (growsafe certificate, Wheels, tracks, and roller, Class 2 license, etc.). If you have already begun your training, we can accelerate your progress with supported training and development to enable you to achieve your Sports Turf Certificate. This role is ideal for someone who can self-manage, is reliable and takes pride in a job well done.

You will be fully supported with correct PPE and best practice training, and work with a team of passionate professional staff.

**What you will be doing?**
- All aspects of turf renovations including aeration, scarifying, seeding, sand topdressing utilizing small and larger tractors.
- Turf repairs on sportsfields including repairs and turfing.
- Irrigation work repairs and maintenance.
- Mowing covering for staff that are away, so the opportunity to upskill.
- Linemarking sportsfields - how to set out a field, athletics track etc from scratch.

**We are looking for Individuals who**:

- A Full New Zealand driver’s license - Manual
- Class 2 driver’s - we will support you to gain this
- Are committed to delivering consistently high-quality workmanship.
- Physically fit and committed to getting the job done.
- Are conscientious toward keeping everyone updated.
- Reliable and always on time for work.
- Flexibility to work additional hours to complete scheduled work.
