Seeking 4 Roofer Assistant in Auckland to work for business permanently. No relevant work experience request, no qualification request.

The minimum rate of pay is $30.00 - $32.00/hour, the minimum hour of work is 30 hours per week, 5 days a week.

**Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:
**The position is responsible for the following**:
Assist roofer and perform routine tasks in installing roofs with various material, such as roofing iron, shingles, tiles, flashings and metal sheets as well as general assistant with duties related to roofing at construction sites.

**Tasks Include**:

- Assist in setting up the job sites and preparing the layouts
- Unroll roofing material and ensure that the correct quantity and type of material has been delivered to the site
- Clear debris and other unused materials from the roof before beginning a project
- Tear down old roofing before the beginning of a roofing project
- Clean drains on roofs in order to expedite the roofing procedure
- Assist roofers in setting tile appropriately and make sure any frameworks or boards are affixed properly
- Ensure preventative and general maintenance on equipment used for roofing purposes
- Following instructions from supervisors
- Must work safely at all time
