The Salvation Army i Bridge Centre exists to provide safe, integrated, high quality treatment and support services to people whose lives have been affected by alcohol or substance use. Our services are evidenced based best practice and are known for being people-centered, caring, transformative and responsive.

About the Role:
These roles involve shift work which includes working at night, the evenings and in the weekends.

The Salvation Army Dunedin Bridge Centre exists to provide safe, integrated, high-quality treatment and support services to people whose lives have been affected by alcohol or substance use. Our services are evidenced based best practice and are known for being people-centered, caring, transformative and responsive.

You will join a passionate and caring team that support people accessing our Bridge Addiction residential programme by assisting them to improve life skills, relationships, and daily activities as part of their recovery. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the house and the daily administration of medications and transportation of the clients to and from the program and to other weekly meetings. This role will allow you to grow your CV whilst studying or allow for a better work-life balance.
- A passion for helping others through their mental health / addiction journey.
- A non-judgemental attitude
- Able to do shift work.
- Full NZ driver's licence and able to drive a van.
- Be able to use IT systems.

- If you're interested in entering the industry full time as a counsellor there are study grants available and plenty of support from the wider team for you to study whilst you work as there are night, day and evening shifts available.

Hours of work: This is a full time, permanent position with a minimum of 40 hours work per week on a roster over weekends and nights - 5 shifts weekly in total based on a roster.

The starting hourly rate for this role will fall between $23.70 and $29.10
