We are a busy Vietnamese restaurant based in Nelson. We are looking for a passionate All Rounder to join our team.

What you will do
- Take orders and inform chefs special needs of customers.
- Deliver food service and serve customers
- Clear used dishes and cutlery from tables and wipe the tables when customers leave
- Assist in the kitchen to prepare food, dessert and serve food
- Pack food for delivery
- Assist with the preparation of ingredients, including washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting, and chopping fruits, vegetables and meats.
- Stir and heat soups upon chef’s request
- Retrieve food and ingredients from fridge and storage as requested according to the received orders.
- Unload delivered food supplies.
- Organize and correctly store food supplies.
- Wash and appropriately store all cooking appliances, instruments, utensils, cutting boards, and dishes in the kitchen
- Clean walls, sweeping, mopping kitchen and appliances after the shift.
- Refill drink fridges, sauces and display
- Wash and dry dishes and put them in place.

What you will need
- Strong time management skills and professional customer service skills is a must
- Have experience in Vietnamese/Asia restaurant is preferable
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high standard kitchen
- Good personal hygiene and physical healthy
- Flexibility and ability to work in teams
- Ability to work under pressure and fast pace, hot and steamy environment
- Great interest in Hospitality
- 30 to 40 hours/week and wage range $25-$30 depending on your qualifications and experience.
