**Your Role**:
This position is primarily focused on driving growth of Chubb New Zealand’s Casualty portfolio and will also contribute to the growth of the Financial Lines portfolio through cross-line opportunities. This will be achieved by generating Casualty and Financial Lines new business and meeting production targets; by servicing Chubb’s network of broker partners, utilising internal reports and adhering to a visitation schedule.
In addition, the role will include underwriting and administration of existing Casualty accounts with particular focus on the Middle Market segment.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Achieve allocated Sales Targets and KPI’s for all Casualty products
- Underwrite and negotiate renewals and new business in line with delegated authorities and within Company Guidelines
- Assist the growth and development of the Company by proactively enhancing the profile of the Company through existing and new distribution channels
- Facilitate training sessions and presentations to brokers on underwriting appetite and understanding Chubb systems and platforms
- Be a leader in logging broker visitations, along with managing and updating pipelines
- Manage internal stakeholder expectations in line with campaign or broker targeted direction. Directions will be defined and communicated by the relevant Product leader
- Coordinate Multi-line or Whole-of-Account opportunities, working closely with all applicable Underwriters to convert these opportunities
- Be across and have an in-depth understanding of the Distribution Strategy, including strategies for Cluster Groups, Distribution segments and individual brokers

**Qualifications**:
**Your Skills & Experience**:

- Full understanding of the Insurance Industry and how Client/Broker/Insurer Relationships operate
- Proven analytical skills necessary to judge the desirability of complex or unusual risks within assigned lines of business
- Excellent planning and communication skills
- Exercise initiative and act proactively to drive and manage a range of distribution initiatives
- A self-starter, capable of working in a team or independently
- Able to travel to metropolitan and regional areas for broker engagements, Professional Development days and broker conferences, as required
- At least five years’ experience across a broad range of Insurance products and services and/or marketing and communications, ideally in financial and professional services
